The CO2 hole on this gun is hit or miss. Sometimes you get it on the first or second try, sometimes you start cursing it.
This gun is great for learning to use the real thing. It's realistic, with a feel, weight, and even a trigger that's indistinguishable from a real Glock 17 Gen 4.
The color of the slide will chip at the edges over time during use. The magazine lip feed is very sensitive, breaks easily, and can't be replaced unless you get a good magazine (this happened to me while shooting a short interval with the airgun stock and a magazine was sent for me).

It holds 4.5 rounds, but more Glock replicas are made than any other pistol I've ever seen. Of course they make airsoft. If I were you, I would look around for better price, quality and shorter lead times due to covid orders being slow. For confirmation, they make 4.5 BB pistols and 6mm airsofts. Almost all companies sell the 19 17 in both styles, but some companies sell several other models.

The only problem is that the barrel is loose and has a lot of play when the slide is locked back.
Make sure you add some oil to the top of the CO2 capsule before screwing it on. Be sure to take the co2Z out after shooting (even if it's still full) as you can screw off the gas valve.

I love the second magazine. Other people I know had problems after shooting less than one mag and had to return it for a new one.
As far as I can tell it doesn't feed standard steel BBs very well. I tried Umarex (Hornady) precision steel bbs with poor results. The brittle lead (air venturi) was terrible too.
Overall: This glock is amazing and definitely the most realistic c02 rifle I own and I have quite a few. This Glock is absolutely worth the money.
I was totally amazed when I opened the package. The level of clarity and attention to detail is spot on. It is a full shot, not a few centimeters or more, absolutely realistic. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones to have one of these Glocks that doesn't shake a bit!!!

The only thing I would change is how the c02 loads. Repositioning the tight cap is challenging.

I highly recommend it to anyone! This is an excellent replica and has all the working parts of an original gun. I almost didn't buy it because of the low fps, but it shoots faster than you'd think.
Pros: Very accurate and amazing hitting, really realistic, easy to load CO2 and bb, low fps but you can't see BB while shooting.
Cons: The magazine follower spring broke so I had to take the mag apart and the Co2 only lasted four mags.

The Glock 17 shoots a steel BB at 350 fps. It is not safe to shoot others. Not strong enough to use for hunting. You need at least 600-700 FPS to be an effective hunting rifle.
After some serious planning and a lot of trouble, I was able to install an rmr safely. It required grinding the slide and modifying the firing mechanism, but it was worth it. Complete project results: Vortex Viper 6 MOA, Olight PL-Pro, webbing basket on grip, custom milled ports on front of slide.
I'm left handed: can the mag release button be made left handed like the original steel version?
Field the pistol as normal, then watch a video on YT on how to remove the mag release for a Glock. They are built with that in mind. Note, however, that removing the spring requires some skilled hands

I've heard you can shoot plastic BBs, but if you put a big 6mm in a small .177mm, you're not going to have a good day jamming it.
