With his father's encouragement, Alan became a dentist, graduating from the UCSF School of Dentistry in June 1983. The following year, he spent at Loma Linda University gaining more knowledge and experience at the General Practice Residency Center. Over the next 30 years Dr. Limbird owns and operates Limbird Dentistry in Ukiah. Looking for a change, he and his wife, Laura Bianchi Limbird moved to the coast near Mendocino. They love living here. Laura often says "Living here feels like we're on vacation every day".

Dr. Limbird trained Dr. Jim Hooper's dental practice in April of 2017. He chose Dr. Hooper's actions because of Dr. Hooper said one. In the next 5 years Dr. Limbird added to his team, and the team was fine and healthy to become the incredible care team they are today. Dr. David Wistrom joined our team in January 2022 working part-time, two days a week. First week of November 2022 Dr. David Wistrom moved permanently to Fort Bragg and practices dentistry with us full time, five days a week. We are happy to be with our patients every Monday through Friday. But Dr. Wistrom and Dr. Limbird is well trained and experienced with lasers. We also added another Solea® CO2 laser to the practice so two dentists can treat patients at the same time with this amazing laser.

Dr. David Wistrom attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics, graduating with honors in dental research. Dr. Wistrom had a private practice outside of Sacramento for 13 years. When their children left home, he and his wife decided to move closer to the ocean. Dr. Wistrom has spent the past 10 years working at a large dental clinic in Santa Cruz, providing quality dental care to the underserved population of Santa Cruz County. He has extensive experience in cosmetic dentistry, dentistry, crowns, bridges, dentures, and extractions. He also has experience with the soft tissue laser and now with the new Solea® CO2 laser all tissue teeth.

Dr. Wistrom and his wife have been married for 42 years. They have 3 beautiful daughters (all grown) and now 4 beautiful grandchildren. In her spare time she likes to walk on the beach and loves to cook and eat all kinds of food. They both love the Northern California Coast and all it has to offer.

Luz Lizardi, also known as "Lucy", is a registered dental assistant in advanced practice. He was born in Zacatecas, Mexico and moved to Fort Bragg in 2003. He is married and blessed with two children, a daughter and a son.

Lucy graduated from Fort Bragg High School in June 2006 and began her dental career in September of 2007.

After working for Dr. Hooper year and a half required, he began studying at Sacramento City College where he eventually received his license.

Next, he received his Pit and Fissure certification in May 2016, allowing him to apply Pit and Fissure masks.

In 2018 Lucy began studying at the University of the Pacific (UOP) in San Francisco and training and practicing for a registered dental assistant and licensed professional practice. He graduated in June 2019, took the board exam and passed with flying colors! Lucy is very proud of her achievements which would not have been possible without the support of her wonderful husband and chief supporter, Dr. Limbird!

Jennifer de'Lavigne, also known as "Jenn", is a Registered Dental Hygienist in another practice. He is from Southern California. Jenn has lived in Mendocino County for the past 25 years. He is married and has two children. His royal work began in 2013 and he has a plan to combine his love for royal hygiene and travel by working abroad for a short time.

Jenn is passionate about her work and the patients she serves. His work is not limited to dental hygiene, but patient education and public health. Jenn believes in delivering the highest level of care with compassion and respect.

Michelle grew up in Fort Bragg, a country town known for its beautiful beaches, redwoods and wildlife. He chose Dental Assisting as his subject for the Honorable Mentor Project so that he could gain a better understanding of the dental field. After completing the work, with Carmen Alcala, RDAEF (registered dental assistant in Extended service), as her mentor, she accepted a job in 2016 to work as a dental assistant and receive professional training to later became RDA (Dental Assistant Register). Throughout the years, he has achieved his goals and received the following certificates:

He is passionate about his work and strives to provide the highest level of care with kindness and compassion. Michelle is excited to continue expanding her knowledge and will enter the RDAEF2 program at the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco Fall 2022. While she is proud of her accomplishments, she will not be able to succeed. the support and guidance of the wonderful team at the Fort Bragg Center for Laser and Dental Dentistry, your friends and family.

Monica was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and raised in Fort Bragg from the age of three. She completed all her education here and graduated from high school in 2005. Monica's dental career started in 2017. Although her dental career started five years ago, Monica has come a long way. He is highly trained and is always ready to help his team as needed. Monica is now the office manager and dental assistant. He received his RDA license in 2018 and is looking forward to expanding his license. He enjoys working with people and helping others in his community.

Monica has been happily married for 15 years, has two beautiful children, Vanessa and Cesar, and a beautiful dog, Lua. Monica loves to walk along our beautiful beach. He also enjoys spending time with his family and traveling whenever possible.

Yisel joined our team in the pursuit of dental care and became a future dental hygienist. He graduated from high school in 2016 and attended Mendocino University for two years. He attended Butte College in Oroville, Butte County. His first interest was human biology. There is something about preventive care of heart health in general that is interesting. This interest fueled his passion and became his philosophy in the way he lives his life. Working alongside such an amazing team and being able to live in such a close-knit community is such a joy and comfort. Yisel enjoys providing dental care services in the beautiful mountain town of Fort Bragg.

Leticia Flores also known as "Lety" was born and raised in Fort Bragg. Graduating from high school in 2010 she moved to San Luis Obispo where she attended Cuesta Community High School, after a few years living on the beautiful central coast Lety returned to Fort Bragg where she attended Mendocino University earning her AA and Allied Health Sciences and one. emphasis in Kinesiology in 2019. He is currently working on obtaining his Dental Radiology Certification and may become an RDA.

In her spare time Lety enjoys making jewelry, playing soccer, and playing with her two dogs, Bullet and Penny.

Hank has been in the dental department for 5 years now. He is currently at our office at Comfort Dog. She enjoys greeting patients at the door and making them feel welcome and comfortable. Great job Hank.
